General Service Worker

Summary This position is located within the Maintenance Branch at the United States Bullion Depository of the United States Mint in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Duties will include janitorial services, basic facility maintenance, operating a motor vehicle and stocking supplies throughout the building. The employee will be required to pick up all necessary supplies that range from cleaning supplies, office supplies, maintenance supplies, restroom supplies and all furniture needed. Responsibilities As a General Service Worker, you will: Serve as a building service worker and provide a variety of building service tasks using cleaning methods, chemical handling procedures, and proper equipment operation and maintenance. Operate gas self-propelled ride-on and other equipment and perform full range of operator-level maintenance of equipment including inspection of fluid levels, tire pressures, and general inspection of equipment priory to operation.
