General Practitioner

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Healthcare team at HMP Millsike, a state‑of‑the‑art male Category C prison located in Full Sutton near York. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team that includes one other GP and three prescribers. You will deliver clinics to support Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Misuse acute needs and long‑term conditions, and complete administrative tasks and patient referrals to internal and external pathways.

Hours

This is a part‑time role working 24 hours or six sessions per week. Typical days are: Wednesday 08:30‑17:00, Thursday 08:30‑17:00, Friday 08:30‑17:00.

Salary

You will receive an annual salary up to £125,600 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
