KEY STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the development & implementation of the Co-operative’s strategy in consultation with the Board; Develop & implement an effective & efficient system of internal controls, information management and other necessary business management systems; Implement an effective system of financial, risk, procurement and human resources management; Ensure the Co-operative adheres to high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility in its business operations; Account to the Board monthly by submitting reports; Maintain effective communication between management, the board, co-operative members and other key stakeholders; Apply innovative and creative measures to boost business growth and keep pace with funeral industry developments; Ensure the Co-operative and all employees comply fully with all applicable laws, the co-operative constitution, standards and policies; and Implement Board decisions and directives as and when req...
