JOB DESCRIPTION General Manager 

SUMMARY 

The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Root Cellar Cafe, New Braunfels, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.  Root Cellar Cafe is a brunch cafe open 7-days per week from 7am-4pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a General Manager or senior leadership positions, demonstrating strong operations, financial and team management skills. 
• The completion of management courses/certifications or a college degree is preferred but not required
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making abilities
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, business operations, and cross-functional teams
