General Labourer

Position Overview

The General Labourer position at McAsphalt is the starting position of new employees with no previous experience.

Reports To

The General Labourer works under the supervision of the Lead Hand operator, Production Manager or Facility manager on the shift. Supervision is more direct until the labourer becomes familiar with the job and requirements.

General Duties and responsibilities

• General housekeeping, warehousing
• Packaging product (filling drums, boxes, pails etc)
• Assisting with production – Polymer Prod.
• Loading/Unloading Trucks – Packaged
• Assisting with production – Solution prep
• Dipping Tanks
• Forklift operation
