Responsibilities

• Set up, move, and align materials or components for production or assembly
• Identify, label, and mark reference points to support accurate layout and placement
• Handle, organize, and transfer work-in-process materials using manual methods or material-handling equipment
• Remove debris and prepare material surfaces to meet process or finishing requirements
• Evaluate finished work through visual checks and measurement methods to ensure quality standards are met
• Interpret readings from precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerance compliance

Skills Needed

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic proficiency using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Minimum of 6 months of prior manufacturing experience preferred
