General Engineer/Physical Scientist

Summary The incumbent serves as a program liaison for assigned mission program elements and associated facilities, projects, and/or dynamic experiments that may include: Infrastructure, Operations, Maintenance and Modernization; Nuclear Stockpile Stewardship; Nuclear Materials Management; Nuclear Incident Response; Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation, Counterterrorism and Counterproliferation; and Underground Test Readiness. Responsibilities As a General Engineer/Physical Scientist you will: Analyzes program and project management plans and oversees programmatic goals, milestones and objectives to ensure they are included in project planning and that work is executed within the approved schedule, budget, and change control processes. The incumbent ensures contractor scope is clearly defined, aligns with Program Work Authorizations and Implementation Plans, and is executed safely and securely.
