General Engineering Superintendent

The role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of plans to manage Thungela Resources Engineering Assets, Resources & Infrastructure – availability of machinery and equipment and managing resources and people to achieve planned production targets

More of your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain safe work practices and a safe working environment by ensuring that legal requirements and group working standards and policies related to engineering are implemented and followed on the Operations and Projects
• Optimise planned maintenance schedules of machinery and equipment ensuring that equipment is effectively maintained
• Research and implement best practice systems with respect to cost, maintenance, safety and people management
