General Duty Cardiology Technologist - NICT

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager Diagnostic Services, the General Duty Cardiology Technologist is responsible for performing electrocardiograms, carrying out peer/trainee functional instruction, performing graded exercise tests (GXT), performing Holter hook-ups and analysis, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Individual work assignments of staff within/between the areas that comprise the Non-Invasive Cardiac Diagnostics Department (i.e. – EKG, Holter and Stress Lab) will vary based on individual skills sets and staffing levels required to provide safe, quality patient care. Staff will receive the appropriate orientation and training required based on their work assignment(s).
