General Assistant
Location: Newcastle, NE13
Hours: Full time - Shifts will operate between 7am-6pm and you must be fully flexible for any shifts between these hours across the week. Weekend working is expected
Pay rate: £13.20 p/h
Contract length: Temporary ongoing
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting General Assistants to join our client in a successful and fast‑paced operation in Newcastle, NE13. This is a key role supporting airline customers by ensuring catering products and equipment are prepared and delivered on time, in line with strict schedules and quality standards.
The Role
As a General Assistant, you will be working in one of the following areas of the business:
Production
Preparing and plating food
Handling packed food items
Packing amenity kits and flight condimentsEquipment
Stacking and organising shelves
Stock rotation
Re‑ordering dry stockWash
General cleaning duties
