Job Description

A General Assistant in the Coating Department will provide hands‑on support to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all coating-related activities. This role involves assisting machine operators, preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness and order in the production area, and following all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum NQF Level 4 - 5 Grade 12+ / Higher certificate essential.
• Knowledge on material grades and steel products will be advantageous.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be advantageous.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
