Gender and Ethnic Minority Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

IUCN wishes to recruit a staff person to support Gender and ethnic minority for Ca-Ma project. This role ensures that project is gender-responsive and evidence-driven and will cover gender and ethnic minority related work in Viet Nam and Lao PDR.

Gender equity and social inclusion

• Develop and implement a Gender and Ethnic Minority Action Plan for the project, undertake gender analysis, gender action planning, and mainstreaming strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) strategies across all project activities.
• Ensure gender and social inclusion considerations are integrated into project activities, workplans and budgets.
• Review project outputs and deliverables (TDA, SAP, NAP) to ensure compliance with gender and inclusion standards.
• Review reports, monitoring frameworks, and evaluations to ensure gender sensitivity and responsiveness.
