Summary
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments and devices. Calibrates, tests, maintains, and repairs various types of equipment, including gauges, meters, and test instruments. Ensures that measurements taken using these instruments are precise and consistent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Setup gauges to support production needs.
+ Maintain the Calibration System per all customer and regulatory requirements
+ Receive and dispense supplies and tools as required to operations personnel
+ Verify needs and requisition supplies and materials to maintain proper inventory levels.
+ Verify stock received to order, label with USM part number and stock to shelves.
+ Maintain inventories of manufacturing supplies kept outside the crib area such as weld wire.
