Gas Engineer

  We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Gas Engineer covering the East of England  Job reference number    Salary - £44,551.95 per annum plus standby allowance £290 per week, when on rota, and appropriate overtime rate when attending the call, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays     Contract: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) - typical attendance will be 08:00 until 16:00 Monday to Friday however, flexibility is essential. You will cover postcode areas (PE) Peterborough, (CB) Cambridge and (SG) Stevenage You’ll be required to join an out of hours callout rota 1 in 4 weeks covering a wider area in PE and CB postcodes only.   Flexibility is key — you'll be working across multiple sites within a defined area, and a company vehicle will be provided to support your travel.
