Full-Time Uummarmiutun Language Instructor

Help preserve Inuvialuit heritage as a Uummarmiutun Language Instructor with Inuvialuit Regional Corporation in Inuvik. This full-time role emphasizes teaching and cultural education under the five-year language plan.
The Uummarmiutun Language Instructor will directly contribute to the survival and growth of the Uummarmiutun language. Reporting to the Inuvialuktun Education Manager, your role involves teaching students and developing curriculum that highlights the language’s cultural significance. We seek two passionate instructors for a one-year term who are versed in education methodologies.
