J.T. Foster is a 7-12 school with approximately 200 students, located in Nanton, Alberta. We are seeking a full‑time Education Assistant to support a variety of learners within our school community.

The position will commence on August 25, 2026 and conclude on June 29, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Build strong rapport with students and create a safe and caring learning environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team of professionals.
• Have experience working in the classroom, in small group settings, and in one‑on‑one situations.
• Have experience with social emotional learning.
• Understand diverse learning needs (e.g., ADHD, autism, learning disabilities).
• Have the ability to work with students facing mental health needs.
