RESPONSIBILITIES
: The Nursing Program Director is assigned the following responsibilities:
Develops and implements a plan for the evaluation and improvement of curriculum based on: 1) student learning outcomes; 2) input from faculty, administrators, clinical sites, students and advisory committees; and 3) changes in pertinent national and state-wide legislation, standards for quality nursing care. Provides ongoing supervision and evaluation of nursing faculty Consults with faculty regarding planning, evaluating, or revising courses and clinical experiences. Participates in college processes for assessing, interviewing, and recommending finalists for full-time faculty positions. Collaborates with the Dean to complete faculty orientation.
