Northland School Division is seeking 3 Full-Time Educational Assistants to work with students at J. F. Dion School for the 2026-2027 school year. The start date is August 31st, 2026. The kindergarten to grade 6 school is located in the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement, one of only eight legislated Métis land bases with Métis governments established in Northern Alberta, Canada, and protected by legislation. Major responsibilities include:

  • Work with children with varied skill levels, needs and abilities.

  • The assignment includes working with students in the classroom, supporting student academics and individualized learning needs, tutorial help and support for English Language Learners.
