Job Description
An Architectural Draftsman is a professional who prepares detailed technical drawings and plans used in the design and construction of buildings. They work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to translate design concepts into accurate, code‑compliant construction documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documents.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Revise drawings based on client, architect, or engineer feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors.
- Perform site measurements and update drawings as required.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
