Job Description
Our Linguistics Department is looking for freelance or staff employees who are technical translators specialized in French‑to‑German (FRàGE) to reinforce our in‑house translation teams in Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of source documentation written in French or German, in collaboration and close contact with our technical authors.
- Translation from French to German and from German to French.
- Management of translation memories and automatic translation software (TRADOS).
- Cross‑check processes in accordance with our quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Education in translation or interpretation studies.
- Experience in translating technical texts from Spanish and English into German or French.
- Experience translating technical texts from other languages, such as English.
