Forklift/Yard Operator

Overview

Join our Rolleston team and keep our distribution centre moving. You'll be loading and unloading trucks, operating the forklift, maintaining stock accuracy, and making sure every load leaves safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Operating the forklift to move and store product safely around site
• Loading and unloading trucks accurately and on time
• Picking and receiving orders, stocktakes, and stock adjustments
• Daily forklift checks, defect reporting, and yard upkeep
• Supporting the dispatch team and assisting customers when needed
• Completing incident reports, near miss reports, and safety observations

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' forklift experience with a current F endorsement (essential)
• Background in civil construction, building, or manufacturing
• A team-first attitude with good communication skills
