Forklift Driver, Heavy Duty, Open Yard
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that offloading put away, picking and packing processes for inbound and outbound operations are performed efficiently and in a safe manner so as to ensure customer satisfaction. Operate MHE equipment in a responsible manner whilst observing all safety measures during process of operation.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the forklift is optimally utilized and regularly maintained. Carrying out daily inspection of equipment prior to usage to ensure that the equipment is safe to be operated and reporting any discrepancy to the supervisor immediately.
Ensuring to stop operation of equipment at any given time in the event of malfunction.
Reporting accidents immediately to the supervisor.
