Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center, JB Charleston Air Base in Charleston SC. The work schedule will be determined by the needs of the activity. Physical Effort: Light to moderate physical effort in lifting up to 45 pounds or pushing carts. Constantly standing, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Responsibilities 1.Food Preparation and Service Washes, peels, scrapes, dices, slices, and shreds fresh fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving. Prepares salads, sandwiches, beverages, and other simple food items using standardized recipes and prepared ingredients. Portions food into standardized serving sizes to ensure consistency and nutritional compliance. Sets up cafeteria serving lines, steam tables, dining areas, and beverage stations with food, condiments, utensils, and supplies.
