Food Service Worker (Barista)

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Homestead Club on Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas. The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Responsibilities Prepares specialty beverages in a free-standing coffee operation. Operates a commercial grade espresso machine. Grinds fresh coffee beans. Prepares beverage by adjusting the grind of the beans, dosing the amount of coffee to be used, tamps down the ground coffee in the basket and obtains the desired extraction.
