FOOD SERVICE MANAGER

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Food Service Manager provides overall leadership and direction for the Food Service Department. The role ensures residents receive safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals that meet individual dietary needs while promoting a positive dining experience. It also guarantees compliance with regulatory standards, organisational policies, and best practices to support residents’ health, well-being, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and provide high-quality dietary services for residents of the facility.
• Apply continuous quality improvement principles, best practices, and standardisation to workflow, performance, production, and changes to service and dietary requirements to meet legislative requirements.
• Select, supervise and motivate dietary staff; ensure they work as a team, maintain a high level of productivity and better use of staff capabilities.
