Food Attendant

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items, specials, or ingredients.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Check in with customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Handle payments, including processing credit cards and giving change, and make sure the customer’s check is accurate.
• Deliver food and beverages to the table in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure that the correct orders are served and presented attractively.
• Refill drinks, bring extra condiments, and clear empty plates when necessary.
• Suggestive selling: recommend specials, desserts, or drinks to increase sales.
• Keep the dining area clean and presentable by wiping down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
