Food and beverage manager - 4 * hotel cape town

A 4* Hotel with three food and beverage outlets seeks to employ a well-rounded food and bev manager for a luxury property with over 200 rooms.

Job Requirements Hotel School Diploma (minimum 3 years) 3 years experience in all F&B areas obtained in a 4-star unit in a supervisory or management role Banqueting experience would be a distinct advantage Knowledge of Opera and Micros and Sales & Catering Specific Duties Manage and control all outlets within F&B to achieve or exceed budget profitability, maintaining a high standard of service, presentation and efficiency Control operating equipment through correct handling, storage and regular stock counts to minimise loss through waste, theft and breakage Monitor daily temporary personnel Appraise and communicate with subordinate personnel, discussing with the F&B Manager potential movement within and from the department Ensure that service standards are maintained and followed at all times with ongoing daily/weekly training Ensure ...
