Fleet Tire Technician (DOT)

**Position Overview** As a Tire Technician, you will maintain and repair all equipment and tires on company vehicles, as directed by your supervisor. You will also perform routine fleet checks and communicate any findings accordingly. In addition, you will also be responsible for washing the trucks and trailers.

**Pay Rate: Depending on skill set and experience, $19-$24/hr**

**Description**

+ Rotate tires to different positions of various automobiles, trucks, and equipment.
+ Repair and replace tires, tubes, rims, wheels, and other tire-related components of the vehicles; Includes mounting and dismounting using hand tools or machines, as needed.
+ Inspect rims, hubs, studs, and lug nuts for excessive wear, cracks, bead damage, tread condition, and other indications of improper wheel alignment or impending tire, wheel, and axle related failures.
