Fleet Manager

Overview

Fleet Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the company’s fleet across all branches in Canada, including vehicle acquisition, lifecycle planning, maintenance coordination, vendor management, and cost control. The role supports operational needs and works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fleet Acquisition, Lifecycle & Disposal
  • Lead the vehicle acquisition process including developing specifications, obtaining quotes, evaluating options, and preparing annual budgets.
  • Work with the Fleet Management Company to provide total cost of ownership (TCO) comparisons for lease, fuel type, maintenance costs, and depreciation.
  • Manage vehicle lifecycle planning to determine optimal replacement timelines based on age, mileage, residual value, and repair trends.
