Fleet Controller (Junior & Senior)

Key Responsibilities Capture and update planned loads on the Fleet Management System (Soloplan). Allocate and coordinate loads to the assigned fleet. Ensure drivers receive loading instructions and are informed of any operational changes. Monitor truck movements and driver activity in real time. Ensure all scheduled collections and deliveries are completed on time. Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed of delivery progress and delays. Ensure PODs and supporting documentation are correctly scanned, submitted, and filed. Monitor diesel consumption and driver efficiency, escalating poor performance where required. Conduct driver debriefing sessions and assist with operational queries. Manage driver attendance, leave, and daily operational administration. Coordinate breakdowns with the Call Centre and follow up until resolved. Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and transport legislation.
