Salary: GBP32000 - GBP32670 per annum

The role is a 6‑month assignment (possible extension) focused on carrying out scheduled maintenance operations on all fleet vehicles, plant and equipment, including light and heavy goods vehicles, plant and machinery, specialist vehicles, heavy goods, and complex vehicles such as refuse lorries and rear‑end loaders.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of light and heavy goods vehicles, plant and machinery including fault diagnosis.
• Attend off‑site breakdowns and effect necessary repairs to render vehicle roadworthy or recover to depot.
• Carry out new vehicle Pre‑Delivery Inspections and Routine Vehicle Safety Inspections. Commission new plant and equipment and maintain fleet records.
