FIRE ANT ERADICATION – FIELD OFFICERS

Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Burleigh Depot with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland starting on the  5/8/2026
This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland.

9 day fortnight 
Uniform, PPE and vehicle during work hours provided 

Key Duties: 
Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects 
Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
Driving Company vehicle 

Mandatory Position Requirements:
Open car licence 
MUST have outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Land Management and Conservation, Civil – Hiking or Bushwalking recreationally
