Fire Alarm System Installer 222

Olymbec is currently seeking a Fire Alarm System Installer (Certified – Code 222) to join our Fire Protection Department.

The Fire Alarm System Installer will report to the Fire Alarm Systems Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, program, inspect, test, and maintain security systems, fire alarm systems, communicators, emergency lighting, and gas detection systems according to current ULC and NBC standards.
• Produce reports following inspections.
• Read and understand engineering plans, technical specifications, diagrams, installation manuals, and maintenance manuals.
• Repair intrusion systems and provide service as needed.
• Program components and perform system startup.
• Test the system and its components and conduct tests with the central station and relevant authorities.
• Identify any anomalies or make recommendations in accordance with current standards.
