FinOps Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud spending patterns to identify cost optimization opportunities and implement strategies for significant savings.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive cost allocation models to accurately attribute cloud expenses to specific teams, projects and services.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to forecast cloud expenditure, ensuring budget adherence and proactive financial planning.
• Automate cost reporting and anomaly detection using tools and scripting to provide real‑time insights into cloud spend.

Minimum Experience

7+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), cloud cost optimization, cloud operations, or financial governance roles, preferably within large, regulated enterprises or banking environments.
