Financial Reporting Accountant (M&A Focus)

**Overview**

Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join the corporate Finance and Accounting team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist with purchase accounting for acquisitions in accordance with ASC 805, Business Combinations
+ Support the preparation of acquisition opening balance sheets and purchase price allocation
+ Compile and analyze acquired company financial information to identify assets acquired and liabilities assumed
+ Prepare journal entries related to acquisitions, including goodwill and other purchase accounting adjustments
+ Assist with documenting accounting positions and preparing acquisition-related accounting memos
+ Support the integration of acquired entities into the company's financial reporting and consolidation processes
