Financial controller / finance manager

Overview

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing plant hire company managing a fleet of approximately 100 earthmoving and construction machines seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Financial Controller / Finance Manager to take full ownership of their finance office, tighten internal controls, and optimize the financial performance of their fleet asset lifecycle.

Role Overview

This is not a passive desk only accounting role. You will run the entire financial function, translating workshop and fleet realities into clean, strategic financial data. Your primary focus will be managing full-function accounting, optimizing asset return on investment (ROI), tracking machine-level costing (diesel, maintenance, and components), and eliminating revenue leakage through robust internal controls.
