Financial Controller (CPA Certification Required)

FlexStaff is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a current CPA certification for a permanent opportunity with one of our external clients, a leading food distribution and logistics company based in the Bronx, NY.

In this role, you will lead the accounting function, oversee financial reporting, and partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to support strategic decision-making across a complex, operations-driven business.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
+ CPA required
+ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role
+ Experience in eCommerce, retail, grocery, supply chain, or PE-backed company preferred
+ Deep knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
