Our Financial Management and Procurement Services division is seeking a Financial Analyst who will function as a key member of the Division’s management team responsible for the budgetary and accounting information.
As a Financial Analyst, the selected candidate will primarily support the Strategic Security Sciences (SSS) Division and will respond to a number of ad hoc requests for budgetary and accounting information from DOE, Laboratory management, Directorate management, Division management and programmatic staff, often involving complex analyses and short deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Prepare or manage the preparation of monthly, routine, and ad hoc financial reports and analyses, usually under tight time constraints.
+ Prepare financial data for reviews and presentations, prepare cost estimates for funding proposals, and plan and control expenditures for organization units.
