Responsibilities

Serve as the liaison between financial aid and athletics, assuring that all NCAA compliance rules and regulations are being adhered to.Manages all aspects of CPOS (Course Program of Study) as it relates to reporting, overrides, notifications, etc.Manages all non-WV state grant programs, ex. PHEAA, DC TAG.Manages all aspects of the WV HEAPS grant program as it relates to awarding, reconciliation, and reporting.Serve as the primary lead for summer processing for all students enrolled in summer courses.Serve as the department lead for the State of WV appeals for financial aid programs at Fairmont.Provide counseling to students and parents in person and over the phone regarding financial aid eligibility, the application process, awarding and disbursement, and other financial aid areas based on federal, state, and institutional policy.
