Finance Officer

THE ROLE
The Senior Finance Officer supports the Budget Appropriation Control and Operations team in delivering its key functions relating to the build of the macro budget of the Department and providing expert financial and budget advice to internal stakeholders and financial support services to internal clients, including preparing and loading journals, reporting of budget performance data, maintaining the departments chart of accounts, and preparation of financial data for publication in the State Budget Papers and the Department's Annual Financial Report.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Oversee the timely and accurate completion of complex account reconciliations, annual account working papers, financial reports, briefings and other ad hoc reports and correspondence.
