Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Drive the annual budgeting process and ISBP (long-term strategic financial plan), ensuring resources are allocated to support R&D and mission-critical projects.
Support Winning Contract. Bid and Contract Evaluation
Business Cases: Assess market size for MBDA, derive a ten-years commercial scenario, assess (industrial cooperation) cost, schedules and compute financial returns.
Contract & Program Finance: Oversee the financial performance of major defence contracts. This includes Earned Value Management (EVM) to track project progress against costs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industry-specific standards, such as NODECOS (Auditable pricing norms), CAS (Cost Accounting Standards), Spanish Gaap (PGC) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Government Relations: Lead audits and negotiations with government agencies (e.g., GEC, DIGENECO) regarding contract pricing and overhead rates.
