Finance Controller - Banking

The Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the company’s financial reporting. Operating within a medium-sized business that forms part of a large corporate group, the role has a strong focus on month-end close, statutory and group reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of intercompany accounting. The role ensures all group reporting requirements and deadlines are met while maintaining strong financial controls and governance.



Roles & Responsibilities:

Full ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial information

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts in line with group reporting requirements

Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards (FRS 102 / IFRS as applicable) and group accounting policies
