Field Technician - Senior

Join our Networks team as a Senior Field Technician in Nelspruit , where you’ll lead advanced installations, complex repairs and detailed site surveys across our Wireless and Fibre networks.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical expert who thrives in the field, mentors junior technicians and ensures every installation and repair meets Herotel’s quality, safety and customer service standards.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and oversee advanced fibre and wireless installations, repairs and site surveys
• Perform preventative maintenance and conduct inspections alongside RF and Fibre teams
• Execute advanced fibre troubleshooting including splicing, testing and dome management
• Perform wireless troubleshooting including signal testing, bandwidth validation and CPE optimisation
