Perform direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced life support according to the goals of Mercy Health System.the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy Standard of Care and Employee Code of Conduct. Field Supervisors also perform clerical, maintenance duties and act as preceptors of EMT and Paramedic students. Also supervisor EMTs and Paramedics indaily routine and pre-hospital care setting. Field Supervisor make operationaldecisions in the absence of Manager-Regional EMS or Supervisor-Operations and instruct EMT and Paramedic on inservice training, education and driving. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his/her responsibilities and integrate into his/get style of management, the MercyPhilosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life, and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues inthe area over which he/she has responsibility.
