Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

The Field Service Engineer supports on-site installation of new equipment or systems at customer locations, including pre-installation assessments, physical setup, configuration, testing, and commissioning, while also ensuring proper functionality and customer training on the new system. He is also involved in post-sales activities for in/out of warranty tools, data analysis and technical meetings with stakeholders.

• Troubleshoots key technical issues at the component level
• Creates methodologies and procedures as necessary
• Anticipates and responds to fab issues
• Drives corrective processes through the various functional groups in HQ or escalates as appropriate
• Participates in customer meetings and escalations
