Field Service Engineer

We are working with a specialist engineering organisation who are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Service Engineer to join their project delivery and operations team. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to support a wide range of critical infrastructure assets across the UK.

This is a field-based position, requiring weekly travel nationwide, supporting both project delivery and ongoing customer aftercare. You will either be based in Retford, or on the road on a weekly basis several days a week.

Key Responsibilities

* Support installation teams by carrying out quality inspections and resolving on-site issues

* Perform planned and reactive service, maintenance, and repair on water control and flood defence equipment

* Diagnose faults where issues are not immediately clear
