Roles and Responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for Installation, testing and commissioning, preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of precision cooling units (CRAC/CRAH, in-row coolers, chillers, and close‑control ACs) and to support 24/7 operation in mission‑critical environments.
Key Responsibilities- Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise / execute site installation of precision cooling units per manufacturer specifications.
- Perform refrigerant charging, leak checks, piping, and electrical connections.
- Testing and Commission units with proper airflow, setpoints, humidity control, and alarm verification.
- Integrate with BMS (Building Management System) via Modbus, BACnet, or other protocols.
- Provide Operational training to User.
- Preventive Maintenance
