Are you interested in animal management, helping the community and solving complex challenges?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for energetic and community focused individuals to join our team in a mixed office and field-based role.

Your responsibilities will include dog and cat registration and control in public, roaming livestock, patrols of public spaces and parking compliance.

Daily interaction with members of the public will require effective interpersonal and customer service skills.

About the role: 

• The Ranger Team is responsible for community education and regulatory functions associated with the Companion Animals Act, Local Government Act, Road Transport (General) Act, Australian Road Rules, Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act
