About the role


As our next Field Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to proudly represent our Maintenance Team on a 14/7 roster out at our Gruyere Project, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. In this role, you will:

  • Work a 14/7 Roster, 7 Days and 7 Nights, 12 hours shifts

  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet including CAT 6060 Shovel, Sandvik DR410i, DI650i, DP 1500 / 1600 drills, Komatsu PC1250, Liebherr 9600/9400/9200 excavators and other equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation 

  • Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard 

  • Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins...
