Field Archaeologist

We’re Hiring: Intermediate Archaeologist Fort St. John, BC (preferred) Full-time Synergy Land & Environmental Services is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Arch aeologist who enjoys field leadership, hands-on assessments, and working across diverse project environments. This role suits someone confident running field programs, mentoring junior staff, and engaging respectfully with Indigenous communities.

What You’ll Do • Lead and supervise archaeological field assessments • Identify, record, and catalog archaeological and traditional use sites • Conduct preliminary and post-impact reconnaissance and impact assessments • Uphold strong health and safety standards • Support project coordination and delivery • Liaise professionally with First Nations • Mentor and oversee junior field staff

3+ years of archaeological field experience
